Customer Experience Management Graduate Development Programme  

Working as part of Customer Experience (CXp) you will be part of an exciting team of specialists who all share a passion to support the transformation of our business and deliver excellence to customers. This influential team works closely with colleagues and customers to ensure we deliver on our service commitments, as we embark on delivering our Strategic Plan.

Successful candidates must share our passion for delivering great customer service and have enthusiasm for problem solving and negotiation skills. You will initially gain experience across all teams in CXp to understand how we use customer insight to shape the way we deliver our services to our customers. This can range from customer surveys to formal complaints which offers opportunities to drive service improvements and ensure the customers voice is heard as we review existing processes, and any training requirements where gaps may exist. Getting the opportunity to learn more about some of the wider CXp functions such as experience performance monitoring, Freedom of Information management and service training.

The role requires someone who will champion the customer, the right thing to do and demonstrate an independent view.  Whilst assessing both the customers viewpoint and recognising SW’s responsibility in line with current processes and legislation. To achieve this the role requires someone who shows a keenness to have a go, not afraid to have some of the more challenging discussions, not afraid to make a difference to colleagues and customers lives.

To provide Scottish Water’s customers with a professional and independent review process.

Part of the core duties on completion of the graduate programme will be to champion customers issues and work closely with customers and colleagues to rigorously investigate through to delivery of a resolution. They will be empowered to take the necessary steps to resolve issues to customers satisfaction.  They must do this in a way which leaves the customer reflecting on a positive, professional experience of Scottish Water.

Successful candidates will share our passion for delivering great customer service and be willing to learn and develop themselves in line with the aims of the Programme. Applications from those with STEM (i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) backgrounds are preferred, although not essential. You will have a minimum 2:2 Honours Degree (or be on track to achieve a 2:2).

Starting Salary: £26,500.
