The trainee will assist the Programme Team responsible for Turkey with a range of tasks, including reviewing proposals, monitoring/assessing ongoing projects, collecting and providing information about EED partners’ work and assisting with arranging events and advocacy meetings for relevant EED partners.

EDD seek candidates who have an interest in and clear understanding of the work and dynamics of civil society and good knowledge of the region’s political context. Proficiency in Turkish language required, in addition to English.

Start date: August/September 2023, duration: one year
